Today was a much less worrisome day. Once my chill pills
kicked in last night I slept for seven hours straight. That hasn’t happened in
a long time. I’m glad I didn’t have worries today; two days in a row would have
been difficult for me.
I didn’t do anything exciting today. The NASCAR race was
rained out so I can watch that tomorrow so today I just read bits and pieces of
books 2 and 3 in my trilogy. I don’t mean to toot my own horn but I am rather
proud of what I’ve accomplished with the trilogy. I told a big ass story in
just under 300,000 words and I cannot wait until all three books are out in the
open for people to enjoy. Hopefully, the publisher for book #1 will also
publish 2 and 3.
I planned another day of my Disney trip, this time for the
Disney Studios park. This is the only park where I’ll be going for just one day
while the other three will each have two days. It’s also the first time I’m
planning to be at a park after dark (to see the Fantasmic show and fireworks).
I’m a little wary of this because I am a single woman going. It may be the
happiest place on earth but there are still butt holes out there that want to
try and steal purses and such. When I’m amongst a crowd I always wear my purse
across my body so they’d have to work to get it away from me. I would think in
that time I could land a kick where it counted. I’m nearly certain nothing like
that will happen but the thought is there because I’ll be travelling alone.
Eating has been okay today. Nothing too exciting. I did have
a craving for mashed potatoes but was good and just got a single serving
instead of the family size. For dinner I wanted a sandwich. One thing that is
hard when it’s just one person trying to eat is that you can’t have a lot of
fresh stuff on hand because otherwise the food goes bad unless I want to eat
sandwiches for five days in a row. Which I don’t so I thought I’d try one of
the subs from Casey’s (because they’ll deliver to me). Take my word – do not
get a sub from Casey’s! It was icky. Blech.
I hope everyone had a peaceful Sunday! :)
