Gentlemen, this may not be the blog entry you want to read
(at least the first paragraph). Ladies, hopefully you sympathize with me. :)
Yesterday, I wrote that the struggle to lose weight is real.
Today, I want to talk about how PMS makes that struggle even harder. According
to my handy-dandy iPhone app, my monthly annoyance will hit this week. I’m
grouchy, bloated, and crave everything I shouldn’t eat. I couldn’t even step on
the scale this morning because I’m sure I’m retaining water and that’s just not
fair when trying to lose weight. I was afraid that if the scale said something
bad, it might throw me into a binge eating episode. Okay, rant over.
(Okay, guys. You can start reading now.)
I woke up at seven all ready to go for my walk. An hour and
a half later when I woke up again, I was still ready to go. I hopped up, put on
my walking clothes. I even but on a bra! (Hey, if I’m just lazing around the
apartment, I’m going to be comfy.) Then I decided to check the radar and this
is what I see.
So, instead of walking outside, I walked around my
apartment. It felt really good although I only made it through the fast portion
of my playlist (see below). I still think that’s good considering I haven’t
done any focused walking in forever.
Breakfast was my yogurt, nanner, and mocha latte and lunch
was my usual salad preceded by some beef jerky. No snacking this afternoon. I
haven’t decided yet what I’m having for dinner. I’m leaning towards soup if I
have some that is low in carbs. I still have to try the plain veggie burgers so
that’s a possibility.

Numbers
Weight: --- (up 0, down 3.8 total since starting)
Out of Bed Blood Sugar: 133 (good – my blood sugar is always
around this in the morning)
Before Lunch Blood Sugar: 78 (touch low, I just realized
there’s a color difference on the app I use to track my blood sugar and below
80 is considered low which makes sense since I get shaky in the 70’s)
Before Dinner Blood Sugar: 81
Measurements
Bust: 61 (up 2”, PMS)
Waist: 66 (up 1”, PMS)
Hips: 73 (same, thankfully)
