I walked today! I felt too self-conscious to walk around the
apartment complex and it was early so I decided to head over the hill to North
to use their track. I figured there’d be some other walkers or runners which
there were in addition to the North High Flag Corp practicing on the track. My
luck! I pushed on though and just avoided them and managed a half a mile (the
first four songs on my playlist). It felt good to be walking and weird to be
back on that track where I spent four years practicing on the field for
marching band. I was going to take a picture of the 97 steps but the twirlers
were stationed there. I do not miss those stairs!
For breakfast, I just had a banana and my mocha latte. I
opened my yogurt but I just wasn’t feeling it today. I had salad for lunch and
another for dinner – each one had different components – and some air popped
popcorn for a snack this afternoon.
I don’t know if my feet can handle walking everyday so I
need to start doing some muscle stuff. I have the Workouts app and I can choose
different areas to work so that may be tomorrow’s goal.
I stepped on the scale this morning and I’m back up over 400. I’m hoping it’s all PMS/monthly visitor related. We’ll see where I’m at in the morning because I’ve been stellar at eating today even though I have been craving tortilla chips and bean dip like crazy all day!
