Forcing myself to write tonight. I got upset over something
early last night that is still bothering me but it’s not fair to my readers to
not give them something to read.
I’ve noticed that my cravings for large quantities of food
are gone as evidenced by me not eating dinner most nights for the last week or
so. I’m really just listening to my body and eating when I’m hungry and not
eating just for the sake of eating (except for tonight). My blood sugars have
been steady (aside from them being high due to walking) so I think the way I’ve
been eating has been good. You know what I really crave? I cold bottle of water,
preferably Dasani. That really hits the spot.
I’m not the type of person who only eats breakfast foods for
breakfast. This morning I woke up and had vegetable soup. Lunch was beef jerky
and a small bag of Chex mix and I did have dinner tonight but more so for being
upset than being hungry. I had a cheat meal of pizza but still was careful what
I ate. I only ate two full pieces and then just the toppings of the other
slices I had. It was Jerry’s so y’all know it was good.
I’m up to walking 25 minutes now and we’re walking again
tomorrow morning. I enjoy the time with my walking partner.
That’s about all. I’m just one pound away from being down 10
pounds. It’s slowly coming off.
